For two decades, singer/songwriter/bassist Kurt Ribak has been writing originals and performing them with his band at venues ranging from house concerts to SF Jazz and Yoshi’s. His songs come mostly from the jazz idiom, but have eclectic influences (R&B, blues, gospel, etc). Groove-centric original compositions, described as "Mingus meets the Meters"; Kurt has brought his band to Yoshi's and SF Jazz.
